U.S. Representative Kim Schrier (D-WA8) introduced H.R. 3049, the School Nutrition Transparency for Healthy Kids Act of 2019. This legislation works to ensure public disclosure of nutrition standards compliance by school food authorities, and for other purposes including the percentage and number of school food authorities in accordance and the total number of school food authorities in each state.
