Competitive Foods Rule Finalized
The U.S. Department of Agriculture's (USDA) Food and Nutrition Service (FNS) has published an interim final rule for Competitive Foods titled, National School Lunch Program and School Breakfast Program: Nutrition Standards for All Foods Sold in School as Required by the Healthy, Hunger-Free Kids Act of 2010.

SNA Comments on Competitive Food Rule
USDA has released an interim final rule to establish nutrition standards for "competitive" foods and beverages sold in school a la carte lines, vending machines and snack bars during the school day.
