USDA Publishes Proposed Rule on Meal Pattern Guidelines
Last week, USDA released a proposed rule that would update the nutrition standards for meals served through the National School Lunch Program and the School Breakfast Program. The proposed rule is based on the Institute of Medicine guidelines that were released in October 2009.
