ANC 2008 Is Going Green!

In an effort to help preserve the environment, SNA will be “going green” for ANC 2008. . This year, all education session handouts will be available electronically.

How to access handouts:

  • All attendees will receive a convenient, portable disk to access handouts back at home.
  • Handouts also will be available for download from the ANC section of SchoolNutrition.org.
  • Onsite printing stations will be available during the conference should you wish to print any necessary handouts.

What other ways is ANC going green?

  • Recycling bins will be located throughout the convention center. Sponsored by Nestlé Waters North America
  • As in the past, all surplus food and samples from the Exhibit Hall will be donated to a local food bank.
  • Education sessions will highlight practices for “going green” in your district.
  • The Closing General Session will feature “green” enthusiast Colin Beavan.

SNA appreciates your support of its first “green” ANC. For updated information about how ANC 2008 is “going green,” stay tuned to SchoolNutrition.org!
